Before the cleaner arrives
Published move-out prices assume an empty, cleared property with power and water connected. Remove personal items, food, loose rubbish and unwanted furniture. Empty cupboards and drawers if their interiors are part of the written scope.
- Book lift access and tell TYG the floor and loading rules
- Confirm parking, paid parking or tolls before the day
- Leave keys, fobs and entry instructions exactly as agreed
- Send the agent or property-manager checklist if one exists
Check the written cleaning scope
The base end-of-lease scope covers the agreed floors and reachable surfaces in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and laundry where applicable. Do not assume every cupboard interior, appliance interior, balcony, wall or external window is included. Those items should appear by name in the quote if booked.
Separate specialist work and non-cleaning problems
Carpet steam cleaning is not included in TYG’s base move-in or end-of-lease price. It needs an equipped contractor and a separate price. Paint, cement, silicone, high glass, heavy mould and bulk rubbish can also require different labour, products or equipment.
- Cleaning cannot repair chips, burns, broken fittings or worn material
- Permanent dye or chemical damage may remain after treatment
- No cleaner controls the agent or landlord’s bond decision
At completion
Make sure the agreed areas can be photographed clearly and keep the property accessible until the booked work is complete. Review any photos against the written scope rather than against assumptions. If an agent later reports a cleaning item, send the written report and photos so it can be checked against the paid scope.
Where prices are mentioned, this guide uses TYG Cleaning’s published rates reviewed on 11 August 2026. The final price depends on the written condition-based scope.
